KPD arrests theft suspect who broke into cars, seeks help locating other suspects

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Kennewick Police Department (KPD) responded to the 6000-block of West Rio Grand Ave on Sunday, June 7, for a theft case. Officials are asking for help in identifying one of the suspects involved.

According to witnesses, the suspect smashed a vehicle window and took items from the inside of the car. They then proceeded to get in their own car and drive away. When KPD arrived on the scene, they located several other vehicles that had windows broken and items stolen.

A suspect vehicle was located in south Kennewick, park in the lot of an unnamed store. According to a Facebook post by the KPD, officers arrested a Florida man named Mario Parrish. He was booked for theft to the second degree and malicious mischief to the second degree.

Officers believe that there are at least two other female suspects involved. Some information from the police investigation suggests that the women involved may also be from Florida.
