Kennewick man repeatedly raped middle school-aged girl, police say
KENNEWICK, Wash. – A Kennewick man is facing charges for allegedly raping a middle school-aged girl multiple times over the course of several months.
Police said Rodrigo Ignacio Noguez-Tapia, 19, was arrested Thursday morning booked at the Benton County Jail on suspicion of second-degree rape of a child.
A police officer took the initial crime report on Dec. 31 and turned the information over to the Criminal Investigations Division, which immediately followed up on the report with help from the Support, Advocacy & Resource Center (SARC) and the Benton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
The alleged victim is known to the suspect.
