Kennewick officers search for armed robbery suspects

A Texaco clerk is left shaken after being threatened with a weapon early Tuesday morning.

Just before 3:30am, Kennewick officers were notified that two men entered a Texaco gas station on 526 W Columbia Drive and pulled out a gun.

Multiple officers from the Kennewick Police Department, with assistance from the Benton County Sheriff’s Department, responded to the scene. The clerk was not injured, and the robbery suspects had fled the scene.

No arrests have been made as of 5:30am on Tuesday. Officers are withholding descriptions of the suspects to avoid compromising the investigation.

With help from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Kennewick police officers have been searching the area with multiple patrol vehicles.
