Kennewick police arrest man suspected of residential burglary
KENNEWICK, Wash. — A 51-year-old man was arrested Saturday morning after police say he violated a protection order by breaking into a Kennewick apartment.
Gordon Bailey, 51, was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and booked into the Benton County Jail.
Officers responded just after 7:30 a.m. to reports that someone may have been violating an anti-harassment protection order at Highlander Apartments.
Police say the front door to the apartment had been kicked in and that they found Bailey inside and arrested him without incident.
Bailey’s arrest from earlier this week by Kennewick police was captured in a viral video that sparked a use of force investigation after it appeared to show an officer striking Bailey seven times.
