Kennewick police providing extra officers at Chinook Middle School assembly amid another threat
KENNEWICK, Wash. — A day after a gun threat at Chinook Middle School, Kennewick officers will be at the school assembly tomorrow following another threat.
According to Lt. Aaron Clem, they were made aware of the second threat on Thursday. It alleges a threat of an incident at the school’s assembly on Friday. However, Clem said they don’t believe the threat is credible.
As a safety precaution, extra police officers will be at the school’s assembly.
