Kennewick police respond to injury collision on Columbia Center Blvd

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Local first responders are on the scene in Kennewick, where an injury collision had blocked off traffic near Columbia Center Mall.

According to a Facebook post by the Kennewick Police Department at 1:49 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021, southbound lanes at the interaction of W Canal Dr & N Columbia Center Blvd were blocked after a red SUV and a gray car collided. Specifics haven’t been revealed at this time, but an investigation is underway.

Officers haven’t revealed the nature of the crash, but local authorities are on the scene to assist injured victims and direct traffic.

Authorities ask that drivers avoid the area during their commutes this afternoon.
