Kidnapping Suspect Caught Early This Morning

4 Die in Head-On Crash This Morning Near Toppenish

From the Kennewick Police Department-

Summary of Incident : Abraham Gomez-Moore was following his ex-girlfriend, Mikaela Baker, who was a passenger in the other car. He forced the other car to stop by passing the car and once in front of the car, slamming on the brakes. Once stopped Gomez forced Baker out of the car and dragged her to his car where he forced her to get in as she fought him. Once she was inside the car he entered the car through the same door holding her down until he could start the car and flee at a high rate of speed. The driver of the other vehiclefollowed Gomez and called police. A Benton County Deputy was in the area and saw Gomez’ vehicle. KPD arrived in the area of Kennewick Ave and Vancouver St., stopped Gomez, and took him into custody without incident. The female passenger was not injured during the incident.

Gomez was booked into Benton County Jail for Kidnapping 2nd degree.
