CASHMERE, Wash. — NBA legend Kobe Bryant was spotted at a high school girls basketball game in central Washington over the weekend.

Kobe said on Instagram that he visited Cashmere High School, located between Leavenworth and Wenatchee, to see varsity player Hailey Van Lith shoot some hoops. He posted photos of himself and his daughter Gianna posing with Van Lith and the Cashmere girls varsity team.

According to ESPN, Van Lith is one of the best female high school basketball players in the country. Wenatchee World reported that she led Cashmere to a 62-27 win against Medical Lake on Saturday with 35 points and nine steals.

Van Lith trained with Kobe over the summer and is graduating at the end of this year. She committed to Louisville in November, where she will begin her college basketball career.
