KPD: 15-year-old robbed by three men inside store bathroom
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Kennewick Police are looking for three men accused of robbing a 15-year-old inside a store bathroom.
On Thursday around 4:30 p.m., police say a teen was walking near 26th Avenue and Olympia Street in Kennewick. He said he was on a walk and went into a store to use the bathroom.
Police say when he was inside the restroom, the 15-year-old said three men came in, showed a weapon and demanded his property. The suspects then left the bathroom and the store. The victim walked to the front counter of the store and told employees what happened.
Investigators have provided descriptions of the suspects based off of surveillance video and a description from the victim.
Police say the first suspect is a white male with dirty blonde hair and was wearing a red sweatshirt. The second person is a black male who was wearing a black hoodie. He was the one who showed the weapon. The third person was a black man with short dreadlocks and was wearing orange or red pants.
A witness told police the men left in a maroon passenger car. Officers have not disclosed if anything was taken from the 15-year-old.
