KPD: Man accused of shooting victim in front yard arrested
KENNEWICK, Wash. — A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 24-year-old man who allegedly shot another man in Kennewick last month.
A detective with the Pasco Police Department Street Crimes Unit pulled over Thomas Rosales at about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rosales tried to run and was arrested after a short foot chase.
He was identified as a suspect in the shooting of 34-year-old Casey Bockman in the 400 block of S. Grant St. in Kennewick on Oct. 23. According to a news release, Bockman confronted Rosales in his front yard and was shot in the leg.
Bockman was rushed to Trios Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Rosales was taken into custody for multiple warrants, including the shooting, plus additional charges for the traffic stop.
