Truck carrying hazardous materials caught fire on I-90 near Cle Elum, says Washington State Trooper

CLE ELUM, Wash. — Traffic was slowed on the eastbound lane of Interstate 90 on Wednesday morning after a truck carrying hazardous materials caught fire due to a mechanical malfunction.

According to a social media post from WSP Trooper John Bryant just after 8:00 a.m. on May 11, the truck was brought to a halt near milepost 85, which is near Cle Elum in Kittitas County.
