Longtime Tri-Cities broadcaster dies at 68
PASCO, Wash. — A longtime Tri-Cities broadcaster has died at the age of 68.
Dennis Shannon was best known as an anchor and reporter for 610 KONA News Radio, where he worked for more than 17 years. He spent a few months in 2017 working as a reporter for KAPP-KVEW Local News.
On Monday morning, Shannon was found deceased at his home in the 2200 block of Sylvester Street in Pasco.
Officers went to check on him after a family member called to report that he hadn’t been heard from in a while, said Pasco Police Sgt. Scott Warren.
Warren said there are no obvious signs of foul play and it appears he died of natural causes.
