Man busted with $3.7 million worth of drugs during traffic stop, deputies say
MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ. — A Utah man got busted with nearly $3.7 million worth of drugs in his car during a traffic stop in Arizona.
Deputies said Logan Pederson, 30, refused to make eye contact and was acting extremely nervous when they pulled him over on I-15 near the Arizona-Utah border on Jan. 20, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
A St. George Police Department K-9 was called in and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
During a search of the car, deputies found 66 pounds of liquid methamphetamine, 13.2 pounds of cocaine, 2.2 pounds of MDMA and 206 pounds of candy-infused with THC.
The sheriff’s office said the drugs have an estimated street value of about $3,696,720.
Pederson was arrested and charged with dangerous drug possession, dangerous drug possession for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs, narcotic drug possession, narcotic drug possession for sale and transportation of narcotic drugs — all felonies.
