Man Dead After Standoff With Police

A man is dead after resisting arrest and exchanging gunfire with police.

It all started around 2 this afternoon in Selah on Rushmore Road, when police served a search warrant following a car prowl investigation.

Five individuals were arrested, however, the last suspect resisted arrest and exchanged gunfire with officers before going back inside the residence.

The standoff lasted a couple of hours as the suspect continued to exchange gunfire with police.

Police ended up shooting and killing the male suspect.
