Man identified in Kennewick homicide

UPDATE: Police have confirmed that 18-year-old Hunter Black was shot and killed in an early morning homicide.

When Police arrived around 2:25 am they found black inside the home with a gunshot wound and attempted life saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told police they saw two unknown males wearing dark clothing and face coverings leave the scene of the shooting.

Police tell us this is an active and on-going investigation.

Detectives believe the suspects specifically targeted the victim in this case and the public is not in danger.


KENNEWICK, Wash. – Kennewick Police are investigating a homicide on the 400 blk of S. Yelm St. in Kennewick.

Police say one man was shot and killed in the home on the corner of 4th and Yelm. No information has been released on the mans identity.

HAPPENING NOW: One man is dead following a shooting at a home in the 400 block of S. Yelm Street in Kennewick. Investigation is ongoing.
