Man injured in DUI crash north of Walla Walla
WALLA WALLA, Wash. — One man is in the hospital after a DUI crash about four miles north of Walla Walla Sunday night, according to Washington State Patrol.
At about 9:06 p.m., 25-year-old Lane Neal of Prescott was driving northbound on State Route 125 near milepost 9 when he crossed into the southbound lane and struck the embankment.
Upon impact, Neal’s white Chevrolet Aveo rolled, and came to a stop upside down in the northbound lane.
The car was totaled, and Neal was taken to Providence Saint Mary’s Medical Center with injuries. His current condition is unknown.
Troopers say Neal was wearing a seat belt, and confirmed drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
