Man Lifeflighted to hospital following crash south of Prosser
BENTON COUNTY, Wash. — The Benton County Sheriff’s Office says extremely icy road conditions played a factor in a crash that caused serious injury to a man on Friday morning.
The crash happened at Highway 221 and Sellards Road, a remote area of Benton County about seven miles south of Prosser, around 6:45 a.m.
A Lifeflight transported the victim, 34-year-old Keegan Fennell, to Kadlec after firefighters freed him from the vehicle.
Lieutenant Thomspon tells us he was pinned in the vehicle before first responders arrived, and he suffered arm and head injuries.
An update on the man’s condition was not immediately available.
