Man stabbed 11 times in Richland Park, suspects on the loose
RICHLAND, Wash — Richland police are investigating an early morning stabbing that sent one man to the hospital with multiple stab wounds.
Detectives were notified by the hospital around 3:00 a.m. that they had received a 19-year-old man who had been stabbed.
Detectives say it happened at Craighill Park in Richland. The victim says he was sitting in a car with a girl when two men got in, one with a knife.
The victim told police a fight broke out and that’s when he was stabbed. Police found traces of blood inside the vehicle as well as the surrounding park areas. The suspects fled the scene, their identities unknown at this time.
The victim called a friend to pick him up from the park and take him to the hospital.
He is being treated for serious injuries at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
