May Mountain Snow: Thursday morning brought a blanket of new snow to the Cascades

Snoqualmie Pass received 3 inches of snow overnight. This now pushes 2021-2022 to the tied spot of 6th snowiest winter in 2 decades.

SNOQUALMIE: Mountain snow returned to the region today. It’s not completely unusual to see snow in the Washington Cascades in the month of May. However, the inches accumulating over Snoqualmie, White and Stevens Pass only add to the historically snow 2021-2022 season totals.

Any snowfall late Thursday morning will melt quickly. Here’s a look at the current mountain pass conditions:
