Middleton Fall Festival in Pasco opening on Saturday
PASCO, Wash. — The Middleton Fall Festival in Pasco will officially be opening on Saturday.
Mark Middleton said his family started the festival seven years ago, after his brother and sister-in-law wanted to get more people to visit the farm.
“The more urban our world becomes, the less people know where the food comes from and have less of a chance to go out on a farm,” Middleton said.
Every October, the farm sets up a pumpkin patch, does hay rides, and hosts a ton of activities, like a potato blaster, giant slide, horseback riding and more.
However, the feature the family is most excited for is the corn maze. The design changes every year and this one is a special tribute.
“It’s a picture of our farm at sunrise,” Middleton said. “We want to say a huge thank you to farm workers for their investment. They are the backbone of the agriculture industry in our community.”
Throughout the month of October, the festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday’s and Saturday’s and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday’s. It is located at 1050 Pasco-Kahlotus Road, Pasco, WA. For more information, you can visit their website.
