Miramar Health Center to host Mobile Food Bank

PASCO – Miramar Health Center will be center stage for Second Harvest’s Mobile Food Bank, Wednesday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Miramar Health Center is located at 1608 N. Road 44 in Pasco.

The mobile food bank distribution will include approximately 8,500 – 10,000 pounds of fresh produce and other fresh foods, enough to feed 250 households. The event is open to all individuals and families in need of food assistance. The distribution will be held rain or shine. No documentation is necessary to participate.

Those planning to attend are asked to bring a box, bag or other container for their food. Additional information about the distribution is available by calling Second Harvest’s Mobile Food Bank Information Line at (509) 252-6270.

“We are thrilled to be able to help provide nutritious fresh food for area families as part of our ongoing commitment to the improved health of our communities,” Matt Davy, Miramar Health Center Clinic Director said.
