Missing Yakima woman found shot to death; FBI investigating
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. — A Yakima woman who was last seen by her family in September was found shot to death on the Yakama Indian Reservation.
On Nov. 28, the body of 30-year-old Jedidah Moreno was found in an area of the reservation that is closed to non-tribal members, according to the Yakima County Coroner’s Office.
Coroner Jack Hawkins indicated that Moreno had been dead at least a few days before she was found. He did not give an estimate as to how long.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Tribal Police are investigating her death as a homicide.
