Motorcyclist injured after getting rear-ended on I-182 in Pasco

PASCO, Wash. — A motorcyclist was injured after getting rear-ended on Interstate 182 near Road 68 Friday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Troopers say Kenneth Carson, 50, of Bend, Oregon was riding eastbound on a 2019 Yamaha XTZ at about 12:30 p.m. when he was hit by a Mitsubishi Outlander.

Carson was taken to Lourdes Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The driver who struck him was identified as 77-year-old James Manson of Kennewick. Neither he nor his passenger were injured.

Manson was cited for following too close.
