Motorhome fire causes brush fire on I-82 at Coffin Road
BENTON COUNTY, Wash. — A 29-foot motorhome caught fire on Interstate 82 west of Coffin Road on Friday.
The fire was fully engulfed in flames when officials responded around 12:40 p.m. All of the occupants escaped from it without injuries, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The burning motorhome caused a brush fire in the median on I-82. Only one westbound lane is open. Drivers should expect a slowdown in both directions on the freeway near milepost 121.
