At least 1 dead, several injured in downtown Seattle shooting
SEATTLE – A shooting in downtown Seattle left at least one person dead, several others injured Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 5 p.m. near 4th and Pine, less than half a mile from an officer-involved shooting that happened just hours before, our news partner Q13 News reports.
Seven patients were rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to hospital spokeswoman Susan Gregg.
Gregg said a female victim is in critical condition, a male victim is in serious condition and five others are satisfactory.
A male suspect fled and police are searching for him.
According to Q13, witnesses reported hearing what they believed was automatic gunfire.
First responders have asked people to stay away from the area.
