Finley food pantry opening delayed due to weather conditions

FINLEY, Wash. - The opening day of a new food pantry in Finley has been delayed due to dangerous road conditions.

According to Molly Curtiss, Finley Public Information Officer, the opening was scheduled for Feb. 14. A new date has not been rescheduled.

The food pantry was put together in partnership with the Finley School District, 2nd Harvest and a grant from Nutrien. Once it opens, they'll be available the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Finley Community Center.

2nd Harvest will stock Finley's food pantry with non-perishable food and produce for Finley families struggling to put food on the table.

The Finley Community Center is located at 222204 East Game Farm Road.
