KENNEWICK, Wash. - Looking for something fun to do with the family for New Year's Eve this year? "First Night Tri-Cities" has you covered!
The event will be held at the Gesa Carousel of Dreams this Sunday. It will feature face painting, clowns, Disney princesses, and even a man on stilts. The night will end with the area's only fireworks show.
Parker Hodge, the Carousel's executive director, said this year will be unlike the previous years.
"We're doing henna tattoos this year which is a new addition to the event so that will be in addition to the face painting that's being offered," Parker said. "Laser tag is back. We brought a couple of vocalists this year that will be performing next door at the sports pavilion building for the parents to enjoy while their kids are running around doing activities."
The event will be held indoors from 3 p.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets will be on sale for $7 at the door.
