Family escapes devastating Pasco house fire

PASCO, Wash. - Several fire crews responded to a massvie fire at 520 Douglas Avenue in Pasco just after 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The back of the home was fully engulfed and the front of the home was half engulfed.

Adam Rolon, a resident of the home, says he was sleeping at the time of the fire.

The mother of the family says she left a candle burning in her room overnight, which could be the cause of the fire.

Four people were inside the home when the fire began and were able to escape without injury.

Nearly two dozen fire fighters from Walla Walla Fire District 5, City of Pasco Fire and City of Richland Fire all responded to the scene.

The official cause of the fire is under investigation.
