Four people injured in crash with semi in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. - UPDATE (7:30 a.m.) – KAPP-KVEW has learned four people inside of the van were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The van was struck by a semi when it failed to yield, according to Sergeant Marcus Conner with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, who said the vehicles collided around 4:50 a.m.

There were no signs of alcohol or drugs playing a factor in the crash.

Franklin County deputies are on the scene of a two vehicle collision on southbound Highway 395 and Eltopia West.

No word on injuries or delays at the moment - but deputies are still on the scene.

Deputies wrote on Facebook asking drivers to stay safe on the roadways during early morning hours.
