Internet, cable outage affecting Tri-Cities area

TRI-CITIES, Wash. - An area-wide internet, cable and phone outage has been affecting Spectrum customers throughout the Tri-Cities on Thursday. 

The company says this is due to a damaged fiber optic cable. Crews are working to restore service to the area.

The City of West Richland, the Richland School District and Benton County Fire District #4 are among the agencies that have announced they are being impacted.
