RICHLAND, Wash, - Investigators with the Richland Police Department have closed a section of Stevens Drive after a fatal crash.The crash happened before 5 a.m. Wednesday.Authorities said a person was in the road when they were hit by a car.The person died from their injuries.Stevens Drive is closed between University and Battelle at this time while authorities investigate the crash.Authorities said the driver who hit the person remained at the scene and at this time is cooperating with investigators.It is not yet known when the road will be reopened.COPYRIGHT 2023 BY YAKTRINEWS.
