PASCO, Wash. - Uber could launch in Pasco any day now.
City officials approved the service’s business license Wednesday and they have already approved a handful of drivers.
David McClain, a seasoned Uber driver from Kennewick, says he hopes to be picking up passengers in Pasco before the end of the year.
“What I got from the business office is they were under the impression that Uber wanted to get it online by Christmas, so we got a couple days left,” McClain said.
Now that the city has taken the necessary measures, all Uber has to do is give the go-ahead.
