Walla Walla County under flood warning until Sunday morning

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The National Weather Service (NWS) has put Walla Walla County under a Flash Flood Warning until tomorrow morning. 

NWS reported the flood warning is for Walla Walla River near Touchet.

The weather agency expects the river to rise nearly a feet above the flood stage later this after afternoon and will drop by early Sunday. 

Residents are advised not to drive around the area as the water can move vehicles off the road. 

The flood warning is expected to drop tomorrow at 9 a.m.
