Officials respond to wreck caught on camera at Pasco intersection
PASCO, Wash. — The city of Pasco is responding to concerns about a scary crash caught on camera.
The Pasco police video went viral Thursday, showing a car flipping at the intersection of Sandifur Parkway and Road 68.
Many residents said the intersection often has traffic light problems forcing people to treat the intersection like a four-way stop.
On Monday KAPP-KVEW spoke with the woman who was in the PT Cruiser that flipped.
Many on our Facebook said she was at fault, but she said she did stop and she thought it was her turn.
“People were like, ‘oh you know she was probably on her phone or she was probably this or that.’ No I had both hands on the steering well, I had sunglasses on, and I was in a great mood,” said Kristi Ambrose. “I wasn’t in a hurry to get home, I was a mile from my house,” she said.
Jon Funfar with the city of Pasco said crews fixed the light on Thursday evening and that there was damage to wiring following a storm earlier in the month.
