One car hit by gunfire after drive-by shooting in Walla Walla

Walla Walla Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left one car with bullet holes.

Multiple people called 911 and said they heard gunshots near Sheridan Road and Second Avenue around 12:23 a.m. Sunday. The first person that called said they heard at least six gunshots.

According to Sgt. Jeremy Maiuri, neighbors said they saw a car leave the area at a high rate of speed. Police arrived and found multiple shell casings. One car was hit by gunfire.

No one was injured.

Officers have been looking for surveillance cameras in the area to determine a suspect or vehicle description.
