One killed, three taken to hospital after fatal crash in Yakima County

YAKIMA CO., Wash. — A 20-year-old man from Wishram, Washington died in a car crash in Yakima County Thursday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Washington State Patrol reported that Rudy Flock, 20, died after his car crossed the center lane on SR97 and collided with another vehicle.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. Thursday, ten miles south of Toppenish.

The Washington State Patrol says that three people in the opposite vehicle, including a 4-year-old boy, were injured in the crash.

All three were transported from the scene to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, according to WSP.

Washington State Patrol says everyone involved in the crash was wearing their seatbelt.
