Othello Police: 14-year-old girl missing out of Ephrata might be harbored by grown man

OTHELLO, Wash. — Law enforcement across Eastern Washington is searching for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from her home in Ephrata since the end of September.

According to a social media alert published by the Othello Police Department, the missing girl has been identified as Alondra Mata-Nunez. She was last seen in Ephrata on September 27, 2021, and has not made any contact with her family members since.

Othello police and Alondra’s family have reason to believe that she is being harbored by an adult male. However, no further details regarding that individual’s identity or relationship to the missing girl have been made public.

Family members believe that she could be staying somewhere in the areas of Othello or Mattawa, WA.

Images provided by the Othello Police Department show that Alondra has dark brown or black hair with light brown highlights. Her eyes appear to be brown as well.
