Othello teenager with ties to Toppenish wanted as part of shooting investigation

OTHELLO, Wash. — Detectives from Adams County are looking for a 16-year-old documented gang member with ties across Central Washington. They have reason to believe he was involved in a Sunday night shooting that forced one victim to be airlifted for emergency medical help.

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 2200-block of W Charla Rd for reports of a weapons offense on June 26, 2022. Initial callers said someone was on the ground, possibly with a gunshot wound. Medics and deputies located the male victim upon arrival and confirmed that he was shot.

At first, he was transported to Othello Community Hospital for emergency treatment. Shortly after, they decided to airlift him to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for extensive care. No details regarding the victim’s condition or identity have been released to the public.

Mere hours later, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office shared another public notice naming 16-year-old Arturo Pineda-Feliciano as someone with possible knowledge or involvement in the incident. They say he is known to frequent Toppenish and is a member of a prominent gang who goes by the moniker ‘Suspect.’
