Pasco apartment complex damaged by flames, some residents displaced

UPDATE: KAPP-KVEW heard back from Pasco Fire Department’s Ben Shearer who tells us three units were damaged, and nine units are displaced at least for a night.

Investigators will be at the scene Friday looking into the cause.

Smoke alarms alerted residents to the fire.

Ben Franklin Transit also assisted with getting people out of the cold.

Local firefighters extinguished a fire at Stonegate Apartments in Pasco early Friday morning.

Pasco Fire Department, Franklin County Fire District 3 and Richland Fire responded to the apartments are located at 6102 Road 68, and according to Tweets from Pasco Fire Department, everyone was able to get out safe and there were no injuries.

However, all the people who lived in building J are displaced.

No word yet on a cause.
