Pasco High, elementary schools put on brief lockout after homeless man hassled kids
UPDATE (9:50 a.m) – The schools are off lockout status, according to Sergeant Pruneda. He says officers are currently looking for the man who made the disturbance.
PASCO, Wash. – Pasco High School, Emerson Elementary and Captain Gray Elementary are on a lockout status this Friday morning as officers respond to a homeless man who caused a disturbance in the area.
According to Sergeant Rigo Pruneda, the homeless man was ‘hassling’ some kids. He did not have any weapons and the schools went on lockout as a precaution.
A mental health professional and officers are in contact with the man who is believed to be mentally ill.
