Pasco man facing attempted murder charges for shooting at police
PASCO, Wash. — A Pasco man who exchanged gun shots with three police officers is now facing attempted murder charges for each officer.
Edwin Espejo, 31, was released from Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland this week after being treated for several gun shot wounds.
Officers responded to a domestic violence call on Sept. 16 at the 900 block of S. 9th Avenue. Pasco Police said Espejo did not listen to commands to not touch a nearby gun and shot at them, barely missing one of the officers.
Espejo is facing three counts of attempted murder, assault in the fourth degree, unlawful possession of a firearm and interfering with domestic violence reporting.
