Pasco PD: Man on bicycle gropes woman, steals her purse

PASCO, Wash. — Pasco police said a man riding a bicycle groped a woman and stole her purse near South Fifth Avenue and Lewis Street on Wednesday.

Police said the woman had been walking alone around 10:45 p.m. when she noticed a man on a bike who was following her.

“He approached her, made comments, groped her through her clothing, then grabbed her purse,” police said in a Facebook post.

The man was last seen riding south on Fifth toward B Street. He made off with a maroon leather purse that contained three wallets colored maroon, black and gray.

The woman said he appeared to be in about 5-foot-9, 138 pounds with dark hair and a thin face. He only spoke Spanish and claimed Sureno gang membership.
