Pasco police arrest one involved in shooting Sunday night
UPDATE (10:00 a.m.): The Pasco Police Department arrested Miguel Paniagua, 29, for shooting at a car filled with approximately seven people inside Sunday night in Pasco.
Pasco Police told KAPP-KVEW Paniagua was shot in the leg during a shootout with several other people in another car.
According to Sgt. Pruneda with the Pasco Police Department, Paniagua drove himself to Lourdes Medical Center to seek treatment for his gunshot wound. His injuries are non-life-threatening.
Investigators found several shell casings in the area of A Street and 10th Avenue in Pasco Sunday night.
Police are now searching for the person who shot Paniagua.
In 2015, Paniagua was charged with hit and run, killing a Kennewick father.
Pasco Police told KAPP-KVEW that this was an isolated incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
PASCO, Wash. — The Pasco Police Department is investigating a shooting Sunday night between two vehicles that left one man injured.
According to police, the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. near A Street and 10th Avenue.
Pasco Police told KAPP-KVEW the two men involved in the shooting are in their 30’s and are known to police.
Police say the injuries are consistent with a gunshot wound.
The Pasco Police Department says they have the injured man, but the other suspect was able to get away.
Police are continuing to investigate.
Pasco Police say additional details could be released later Monday morning.
