Pasco police start fund in memory of fallen K-9 Lemon
PASCO, Wash. — The Pasco Police Department is starting a memorial fund in the wake of K-9 Lemon’s passing this week.
The department announced Monday that the retired police dog passed away due to a “medical crisis.”
He served the City of Pasco for eight years before retiring from the force in November 2019, less than a month before his death.
On Tuesday, police said the memorial fund started in his honor will raise money for Pasco’s K-9 program expenses, which are not currently funded by tax dollars.
