Pasco woman beaten with metal bar, robbed on Thanksgiving

PASCO, Wash. — Pasco police seeking answers after a woman was violently assaulted and robbed at a car wash on Thanksgiving.

Police say the alleged suspect was washing his blue car at Bear Wash on 20th and Shoshone when the 35-year-old victim pulled into a stall next to his around 6 p.m.

The suspect reportedly confronted the woman next to her car, hit her twice in the face with a “crowbar, tire iron, or similar object” and stole her black Adidas jacket and large red purse from the car.

The woman was struck twice in the head, causing a laceration on her forehead that required stitches.

The woman said the suspect ran off northbound, then she saw a similar-looking blue car going southbound on 20th toward Lewis.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5-foot-11, who appeared to be about 30 years old. He had on a dark hoody and dark pants.
