PD: 64-year-old man critically injured in Pasco fire started over family argument
PASCO, Wash. — A 64-year-old man was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after suffering third-degree burns in a fire that was started over a family argument, according to the Pasco Police Department.
Fires arrived to a home at 915 W. Opal St. around 11:43 p.m. Saturday and saw flames coming from the attic and back bedroom. Paramedics treated the man’s burns before rushing him to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
About 30% of the home was damaged, but it was not a total loss. Six people were displaced.
Investigators said the man who was burned is believed to have started the fire. The incident is being looked at as a case of arson.
