Police investigate early morning knife fight in Richland

RICHLAND, Wash. – The Richland Police Department says three adults were injured Monday morning during a fight with a knife at a hotel in Richland.

Multiple agencies responded to a call of an assault with a weapon around 5 a.m. Monday morning near the 1300 block of Tapteal Drive.

Police say each of the adults sustained minor injuries during the fight and later received medical attention.

Investigators are working to determine what led to the altercation. The three people involved in the fight were detained.

Police say they all knew each other, but are not cooperating with the investigation.

The Richland Police Department says there is no danger to the public.
