An investigation found that the suspect approached a teller and, after brief contact, left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

In order to constitute a robbery, there must be a threat. In this case, there was no threat, so it is being classified as a theft.

While investigating the incident, officers learned that the US Bank at 303 W 1st Ave in Kennewick had been a victim of theft with similar circumstances about 11:50 a.m. Thursday morning.
