UPDATE, 4 p.m. — Police say two young men robbed a man of his phone in the Walgreens parking lot, with one assaulting the man and another showing him a gun.

Kennewick police say the man met up with the two juveniles in the parking lot to sell them his phone. One of the young men started to get into a fight with the man, while the other showed him a gun.

The juveniles reportedly took off with the man’s phone, ran through the surrounding area and are still at large.

Police are working to get surveillance video from Walgreens.


KENNEWICK, Wash. — Police are looking for at least two suspects in a robbery Sunday morning at Walgreens near Clearwater Avenue and U.S. 395.

Kennewick police officers have set up a perimeter near West Bruneau Place and North Dennis Street and have a significant portion of the area blocked off.

Details are limited, but officers say the robbery occurred at Walgreens, 2800 W. Clearwater Ave.

Authorities are looking for an undisclosed number of suspects who ran through the surrounding area. A K9 team is on its way to the scene to assist.
