Police: Man tried to steal jet to fly to concert

Airline ticket secrets: How to get the most value
Searching for the cheapest airfare may be the most popular way of deciding on a flight, but secret extras baked right into the ticket may bring extra value to your booking, no matter how much you paid.

An Arkansas man is accused of trying to steal a jet to attend an out-of-state concert.

Police in Miller County, Arkansas, said Zemarcuis Devon Scott, 18, thought that piloting the plane involved just pushing buttons and pulling levers, according to the Texarkana Gazette.

Scott jumped into an American Eagle jet at Texarkana Regional Airport, hoping to fly his way to a rap concert on July 4.

The Gazette reports that Scott was arrested while in the cockpit. He has been charged with commercial burglary and attempted theft of property.

Envoy Air said the jet wasn’t damaged in Scott’s attempt.
